This is an exquisitely detailed Prismacolor pencil drawing of a Marcus Illions carousel horse, a firey steed carved in the master's Coney Island style of carousel carving. This image is from a group of photographs I took at Geauga Lake Park in August of 1993, when the evening light was directly illuminating the horses. A drawing from this series is in the permanent collection of the Canton Museum of Art. Matted Dimensions: 14 1/4" X 11 1/2"

This Prismacolor pencil drawing is matted, but will need to be custom framed because of its unique size. I highly recommend that it be framed with Conservation Clear glass which helps to filter out most UV rays. Even though this glass has UV protection, NEVER put art in direct sunlight. Direct UV rays can bleach the color over time. ALWAYS keep art in cool, dry climate controlled spaces. Humidity and temperature extremes are harmful to the art.
